Bill is a retired Navy Chief, with 25+ years’ experience in IT and telecommunications. A former ISSM and Principal IA/CND Manager, Bill is a Sr. Information Security Engineer at Lunarline focusing in the build, security configuration, assessment and authorization of information systems.
Josh Merkel is Lunarline’s Director of Privacy. He is a licensed attorney in California and Washington, D.C., and is able to leverage his legal expertise to assist organizations in navigating the intricacies of regulatory compliance and integrating data privacy into enterprise-wide governance programs.
Mr. Howard, a Cyber Security Analyst at Lunarline, has experience in the realm of Cybersecurity and System Administration. He is currently working on his MS in Information Assurance from Norwich University. During his time at Lunarline, he has worked many projects that include Assessment & Authorizations, and HIPAA Audits.

Heather has expertise in penetration testing, wireless security, network security, information security, and programming. She’s an experienced university instructor and brings a punch of “the real world” to her classes. She spent 8 years with the Air Force as an assessor and defensive cyber security expert, creating and implementing new cyber security tools.
Marie received her Bachelors of Computer Science from Wright State University in 2016. She has been a Security Analyst with Lunarline, Inc. since 2014 assisting in the RMF authorization and accreditation process for many systems, as well as developing curriculum for the School of Cyber Security.
Mr. Simpson is a Senior Cyber Security Engineer & Penetration Tester who has dedicated over two decades to the most technical aspects of the information security field. During his career, he has been deeply involved in everything from Red Team exercises for the Dept of Defense to acting as a principal incident response handler for attacks targeted at critical infrastructures.
