This immersive 2-Day Course will introduce students to the Cyber Hunt process. The course will address the latest methodologies and tactics used by threat actors, along with industry Cybersecurity policy guidance and best practices. Topics covered include: cyber threat intelligence, active cyber hunting, Investigating and analyzing a system, and malware analysis. This course is taught by industry professionals who have served as penetration testers and incident responders who will provide students with an understanding of what cyber hunt is, and how to effectively hunt for potential security issues.
Students will need to bring their own laptop for training. Lunarline will provide an online student account with the course material needed for this course.
You will earn CPE’s to your existing certifications with CompTIA, ISC2 and ISACA.
This course includes one exam voucher to earn the Certified Expert Hunt Team (CEHT)® credential in our Cyber Certified Experts (CCE) Program. Successful completion of this exam will demonstrate a candidate’s ability to understand tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) in the process of proactively and iteratively searching through networks, systems, and data (internal and external) to detect and isolate advanced threats that evade existing security solutions. The candidate will be able to develop, implement, configure, and enhance organizational wide and system-level security hunt tools and use threat information from multiple sources to conduct analysis of system / network anomalies. The candidate will be able detect, respond, recover, and report these findings in accordance with Government and organizations incident handling requirements.
